Scan to Mesh

We scanned the car chassis and turned the point cloud into Mesh.

The point cloud contains a lot of useful measurement data. But very often point cloud files are large and working with them is inconvenient and slow.

One option to solve the problem of a large point cloud volume is to turn the raw point clouds (Point Cloud) into a 3D mesh (Mesh). If a point cloud stores information about the location and color of millions of points, then a grid connects the points and transforms them into triangles. While these triangles still retain the location, RGB, and intensity values of the starting points, they are much smaller, easier, and faster to work with.

Mesh models can be easily exported to AutoCad, ArchiCad, 3DMax and other applications.

To visualize the design and make it easier to process in CAD programs, we turned the point cloud into a mesh.
