3D Tour Creation & Laser Scanning of Historical Landmarks in Hlukhiv and Shostka Regions

Our company has carried out large-scale laser scanning and developed interactive 3D tours for 10 prominent historical, architectural, and urban planning landmarks in the Hlukhiv and Shostka communities. This project aims at high-precision digital preservation of Ukraine’s cultural heritage amidst current threats and expanding opportunities for virtual tourism in the Sumy region.

  • Creation of Precise Digital Twins: Terrestrial 3D scanning technology captures the geometry and spatial positioning of an object with millimeter accuracy. The generated point cloud serves as a reliable digital archive, immortalizing the landmark in its current state in case of damage or destruction.

  • Foundation for Scientific Restoration: Based on the acquired spatial data, as-built drawings and BIM models are created. These are critical for architects and restorers when planning restoration work on damaged facades, roofs, or interiors.
