What is written in Wikipedia about this temple.
There was a Roman Catholic parish in Navarre at least as early as 1624. There was also an old church, which was destroyed by the Tatars in 1618-1621. Soon the temple was rebuilt from wood (it burned down in 1630). Thanks to the financial support of Elizaveta Humnytska, the construction of the brick church began in 1641. The construction of the temple was completed in 1645, consecrated by Lviv assistant bishop Andrzej Szczedzinski. But in a few years, the Khmelnytskyi began, and the shrine was destroyed again.
The temple was rebuilt, and in the same century it became a sanctuary of St. Valentine: the church housed the relics of the world-famous patron saint of lovers. In 1739, that church was partially dismantled due to the threat of the building collapsing.
The temple was restored in 1740-1760 under the leadership of the famous architect Bernard Meretin. The artist Stanislav Stroinskyi and the sculptor Anton Osinskyi took part in the artistic decoration of the church. The interiors featured a painting by Antonio Tavelli (1770).
In 1774, the decoration works were completed, the church was consecrated by the Lviv Latin Archbishop Vaclav Serakovskii in honor of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In 1776, a bell tower was built under the leadership of the famous architect Peter (Piotr) Polejovsky.
The Church of the Sending of the Holy Spirit is a brick church that was built in 1872 on the site of the earlier wooden church of the Holy Trinity (the date of its foundation is September 10, 1754). The first restoration of the temple took place in 1873 with the assistance of the local authorities and the funds of the patron Mykolai Pototsky. The existence of an older church at this place is evidenced by the iconostasis, dated 1730, which was moved from the old church and has been a decoration of the church for almost 150 years. There was a wooden belfry with two bells at the church. In 1928, the church was restored by the efforts of the parishioners. A presbytery house was built nearby.
Now it is an active temple.
